My name is Rachael Maltby and I am a proud Chickasaw Nation citizen with 11 years of experience in communications, marketing and graphic design. Since earning my Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from Oklahoma State University in 2015, I have built my career at Oklahoma City Indian Clinic, advancing from Graphic Designer to Lead Communications Specialist, where I manage the communications content with a content system I have streamlined over the last decade.
In this role, I lead the development of strategic communications, oversee branding and content across digital and print platforms, manage large-scale publications, and coordinate campaigns that reach diverse audiences. I direct the full production of the Annual Report, from content accumulation and analysis through design and publication. My expertise also includes press releases, magazine production, website management, social media strategy, photography, and event promotions. I bring leadership experience in training and mentoring team members, fostering collaboration across more than 15 clinic departments, and building strong community partnerships.
I am Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified and have applied process improvement strategies to streamline projects and strengthen outcomes. I am passionate about combining creativity with organizational leadership to deliver communications that elevate brand reputation and engage communities.
Most recently, I have spearheaded the re-branding of my company and am implementing our brand rollout plan.
Outside of work I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, traveling with my three dogs, playing piano, spending time at the lake in the summertime, and listening to live music.
